Advanced Planning and Scheduling Software Senior & Junior Implementation Consultants

Will be working on the implementation (Analyses, algorithm design and modeling) of Advanced Planning and Scheduling solutions at Large, Medium and small type of companies.

General qualifications are :

  • Industrial Engineer: (Senior consultant is expected to have a min of  5 years ) experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling implementation at a large manufacturing company;
  • Related with software development and programming, and willing to improve her/himself
  • Powerful in analysis and design concepts
  • Communicative, Fluent in English, team player, coordinative
  • Driving license 

Basic Function:

Will be working on the implementation (Analyses, algorithm design and modeling) of Advanced Planning and Scheduling solutions at Large, Medium and small type of companies.

Evaluates, analyzes and interprets planning issues into a planning and scheduling solution model. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Fully knowledgeable about company products and services
  • Coordinates activities and the documentation preparation necessary to ensure the fulfillment of the customer Planning and Scheduling implementation project within the established timeframes. 
  • Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in project related matters; understanding of customer's business issues and product requirements is necessary. 
  • Provides technical guidance to other levels of sales and sales managers.
  • May be called as a technical products expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions.

Secondary:

  • Assists Sales with Presales activities in complex APS solutions sales
  • Works with development to explain reported verified problem resolution to programmers, including system reviews and sales prototypes.

Special Knowledge & Skills:

Excellent Presentation Skills. Extensive knowledge of company’s products, technology, application areas and services and pricing practices, Effective people skills. Effective time and project management, verbal and written communications, interpersonal, decision making, problem solving and organization skills. International Presales Consultant

An experienced Presales Consultant with a background in Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS), ERP and/or Supply Chain Management (SCM) software who can support our expanding sales opportunities with customers and system integrators in Europe.

We are looking for an experienced Presales Consultant with a background in Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS), ERP and/or Supply Chain Management (SCM) software who can support our expanding sales opportunities with customers and system integrators in Europe.

Your key responsibilities will be to

  • help the commercial team respond to tenders
  • provide sales support with product knowledge
  • conduct product/technical presentations and subject matters
  • provide customized product demonstrations to customers
  • conduct workshops with customers and local partners to craft solutions

Together with the VP Sales & Marketing and Marketing Director you will be the core team that will lead the further European expansion. You are supported by a sizeable team of Implementation Consultants and Technical Staff with you in the lead customer facing.

You are bright and have relevant experience with APS, integration with SAP, and Supply Chain Optimization. You have a commercial mind and do well in front of customers. You are creative and good in working with customers interactively in defining optimization solution that will work for them.

You likely have experience with SAP APO or any APS like competitor such as SAP APO/IBP, Quintiq, JDA/i2, IBM/ILOG, INFOR, INFORM, OM Partners, Ortec, and others.

Operations Research Specialist – Istanbul Based

ICRON Technologies, a global supplier of Advanced Supply Chain Planning and Scheduling solutions for manufacturing and services organizations, is looking for an Operations Research Specialist based in Istanbul.

Essential Functions:

  • Interact with customers to analyze requirements for optimization-based decision support systems
  • Design and implement optimization models and heuristics in ICRON to solve real-world optimization problems
  • Work on diagnosing and resolving performance issues in optimization models
  • Help in the research, design and development of optimization-based products built on ICRON technology

Education:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Operations Research, Optimization, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Course or thesis work involving operations research topics such as mixed-integer programming, discrete optimization, network flows, large-scale optimization, constraint programming and/or heuristics

Qualifications:

  • Experience with modeling tools such as GAMS, AIMMS, AMPL or solver-specific modeling libraries such as Concert
  • Experience with mixed-integer programming solvers such as CPLEX, Gurobi, COIN-Cbc
  • Ability to complete problem analysis, develop optimization requirements, design solutions, implement algorithms, perform testing, provide documentation, and work on projects within a team
  • Proficient at analyzing large amounts of data
  • Excellent communication skills. Must work effectively with customers and team of consultants, provide technical guidance to sales managers and support groups

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software development experience
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python
  • Familiarity with algorithmic complexity and data structures
  • Experience with commonly used parameters for guiding solver behavior
  • Exposure to relational databases
  • Familiarity with supply chain planning concepts

Pre-sales Consultant – Istanbul Based

Essential Functions:

  • Support Sales Director from a functional and content perspective in the qualification of sales leads
  • Is or will become in sales cycles the trusted advisor for complex APS/SCM solutions and/or services
  • Conducts pre sales activities and performs demo’s and manages Proof-of-Concepts during the sales cycle
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with influencers in the market
  • Coordinates all content, functional communication and consulting efforts in complex sales with the objective to win the prospect as a customer for ICRON
  • As a representative of ICRON, presents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales related matters (understanding of customer's business and product requirements is necessary)
  • Evaluates, analyzes and interprets proposal requests and main coordinator and owner of RFI and RFP replies
